Hi, This article will help explain what the difference is between animal guide’s totems (power animals) & spirit helpers? The term animal guide is used as a common term which refers to either a physical or spiritual manifestation from many viewpoints. Spirit guide or spirit helper is a term that you will all probably have come across it is by and large a well-used term an even more commonly used than animal guide. The term spirit guide or spirit helper is often used as an umbrella term to include animal guide’s totems & spirit helpers as well as other spirits such as "ghosts" and "angels." The word Animal originated from the Latin Animalis the root being "Anima" the soul or breath of life. The term totem animal is connected with shamanic teachings.
